Annual hosting plans

For Managed Hosting and Essential Hosting annual plans, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment. This applies to first-time signups only, not to renewals.

The 7-day window starts the moment your payment is processed, regardless of when service is activated or when you first log in.

After the 7-day window, annual plans are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, but no refund will be issued for the unused portion. Service continues until the end of your paid annual period.

Renewals are not refundable. You can cancel before a renewal date to prevent the next charge. Once a renewal payment is processed, it's not refundable. We email you at least 7 days before any renewal so you have time to cancel.

Monthly hosting plans

Monthly Managed Hosting and Essential Hosting plans are not refundable. You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice; service runs to the end of your current billed month and then stops.

If you've just signed up monthly and discovered it's not a fit within the first few days, contact us, we'll handle it fairly on a case-by-case basis, but a refund isn't guaranteed.

Fix My Site

Fix My Site is flat-fee project work:

  • Before work begins: full refund if we decide we can't take the job after your initial brief, or if you change your mind before we start.
  • After work begins: no refunds. The fee covers our time, diagnostic work, and the engineering work performed, whether or not the underlying issue ends up being fully resolvable.
  • Fix guarantee: if the same issue recurs within the guarantee period stated on your plan, we'll fix it again at no additional cost. This is not a refund, it's continued service.

If you're unhappy with the quality of work, contact us first. We'd rather fix the underlying problem than process a refund.

AI Automation and custom work

AI Automation projects and any other custom engagements are governed by the project agreement signed at the start of work. Typically:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work begins.
  • Milestone payments are non-refundable once the corresponding milestone is delivered and accepted.
  • If we breach the project agreement, remedies are described in that agreement.

The specific terms in your project agreement override the general statements above.

How to request a refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email hello@zenix.ng with the subject line "Refund request"
  2. Include the name on your account, the email address you signed up with, and which service you're requesting a refund for
  3. Briefly explain why (optional for annual hosting refunds within the 7-day window; helpful for other cases)

Processing time

Once approved, refunds are processed via the original payment method:

  • Card payments (via Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, PayPal): typically 5–14 business days for funds to return to your account.
  • Bank transfer: 3–7 business days.

Processing times depend on your card issuer or bank, we don't control how quickly they release the funds back to you.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first. We'll work to resolve issues directly, almost always faster than going through your card issuer.

If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer without contacting us first, your services may be immediately suspended, and we may decline to do business with you in the future.

We provide all required documentation to payment processors during dispute investigations, including these Terms, our Refund Policy, your service usage records, and our communications with you.
